It can’t be denied that many smokers do want to stop smoking but they keep failing in their attempts. There are actually several reasons why many smokers are reluctant to stop smoking. One common reason is due to the fact that smokers are able to experience pleasure during smoking. To them, smoking relieves them from pressure because nicotine relaxes their mind and emotion. Another reason is that many smokers tend to build a link on activities they often do with smoking. For example, a lot of smokers prefer smoking after having their meals. Therefore, over time the habit of smoking after every meal has become an automatic thing.
In order to stop smoking, smokers need to combat their personal emotional issues. It is true that to stop smoking there is a lot of sacrifice and determination required from the smoker.
