Eat light products does not guarantee a healthy, low in calories. In fact, it is often the opposite. Think about it. Most products that have their light version should not be taken on a regular basis due to excess calories and lack of nutrients. What we perceive as a less caloric and healthier is simply marketing.

The concept of ‘light’ in food refers to a lower content of a particular nutrient in a food. The problem comes when this nutrient is replaced by other less healthy substances that can disrupt or diet. For example, the light versions usually tend to eliminate the sugar and replaced by other products such as phosphoric acid. Products, whose high consumption, they can cause illness and complications to our body.
