Health Insurance in the first quarter
For some time the news related to security have become boring. And it’s not tied to “financial disaster” a “juicy news” but, come on, with more than just good numbers would be different. Now it’s time for health insurance.
After the administration of those policies during the first quarter of 2009, published results speak for themselves. The collection of health insurance premiums came to EUR 1,637 million (6.3% growth over the same period in 2008).
The method was tested with further expansion of Health Care, which won 6.6% ratio, more than one percentage point achieved by the expense reimbursement form with 5.5%.
With regard to the amount of money that health insurance should pay for losses during the first quarter was an estimated 1,290 million euros, representing a growth from the point of view of 11.2%.
In relation to health care, benefits that insurance companies gave their customers showed a growth of 10.2% over last year. Reimbursement of expenses, meanwhile, grew by 21.9%, by far the fastest growing mode since 2008.
