Effects of drinking alcohol in the body
Alcohol affects different body organs. Finally, we studied the main effects:
* Brain-inhibits the functions of the frontal region, thus decreasing memory, concentration and self control. In addition, it inhibits the action of central nervous system so there is a delay in motor function.
* Liver: the liver, ethanol is converted into acetaldehyde and then acetate. The effects of this metabolism are nausea, vomiting and headache.
* Kidney-inhibits the function of antidiuretic hormone, thereby increasing fluid loss through the urine, the agency implements compensatory mechanism to maintain balance and drink water from other organs.
* Stomach: increased secretions rich in acids and improves digestion, if exceeded causes irritation of the mucosa and causes gastritis.
* Skin: Skin level increases blood flow, and thus has more sweating
* Heart: activity increases slightly, so that pulse rate.
* Lungs: breathing accelerates. If alcohol is too circulating breathing stops.
